天地民心 Tian Di Min Xin ep 1

Picspamming every bits of (b)romance.  Dont get me wrong, I like the serious plot as well, this is not earth shattering a drama, but it’s very very well done.  I cant pick a flaw.

By this time we’ve already met the hero Qi Jun Zao at his fav billowing willow field, this is all his reminiscing, the first meeting of our OTP, his Love of His Life.  Wintry fun for the boys in N China circa Qing dynasty is pheasant hunting, of coz.

Her first eye on him, guilty of taking the pheasant he just shot.  Good crossdressing job.

‘Bro, can we talk some sense? Give me back my birdie!’
*chuckle*

Our bookish genius hero suggested a fight for the bird, skinship in ep1 is always a GOOD thing…he’s totally PWN’d by heroine!

Obviously it’s fun to roll in hay and other dried matter w/ YH.

Hero’s BFF, mad as hell some other dude is on top of his JunZao

Then some bickering, JunZao the bookworm quoted Confucius et al.

Heroine the smart lass yelled ‘Black bear!’ and made her escape.  Notice how protective of his JunZao our BFF is.

Our heroine in her lazing at home outfit

Then we meet our girl2, a distant niece of Mom.  I would also hide my face if that’s my look meeting YH for the very first time.  Plot: her parents were killed by some injustice in court, she’s nowhere to go but to ask for shelter under the Qi family.  Dad is an upright, mid level official of the court, looking after the treasury.

Heroine’s family is blue blood Manchurian related to royal fam.  Her big brother is arranging her marriage w/ the 4th prince, who’s been hinted as gay/bi.   He’s in a lustful relationship w/ an actor, how anybody can entrust babysister to a guy w/ that smile beats me.

We get a pretty scene of ZJ all yummy studying w/ his BFF.  They are reading a banned book, encouraging criticizing the court, but their looks can easily be them reading (slash) porn.

Girl2, the sweet, gentle one is sneaking peeks at the pretties.
