What an awesome PS by the always talented fans at DC gallery.
I’ll admit I have sweaty palms clicking the eps this week, nervous this will fall apart like so many dramas prior. We know the drill, drama gets better and better, slowly latching on, then a JOJ8 drops kind of out of nowhere. And what’s next?! I was totally prepared for a few slower filler eps, JaeHee to make an entrance (right!? I’m so not sure) and that takes some drama-brick laying. But nope, still this assured pace not skipping a beat with punches to my gut, or some gooey body part inside me that is infested and out of control. There are scenes, quite a few of them where I go do my little claps and cheers and somersaults in my heart for a job well done.
Super wordy, probably my worst case of babbling mess. Spoilers, gifs ahoy. All credit to DC JOJ gallery and baidu bar.

So much forward momentum, and not missing a beat serving the lols and awwws. This is the episode I’ve grown fonder of so many characters after knowing more about them, I have firmly formed my OTP ship. There is a new shipping I know it’s very wrong but I can’t help but WANT!

Love is in the air. The manhwabang must have water (or ramyun) laden with various love pheromones of the strongest kind.

Guys, we have SKINSHIP!
We finally are spending time with HJ in her element, her home turf: the manhwabang, where she has a reputation as the Manhwabang Ahjumma. We know very well she’s a most hilarious and creative liar, but we can feel the shame and guilt and the frustration of her heart tugging attempts trying to fit in. At the manhwabang she can be totally herself, ie PURE AWESOME!

I love laughing till I’m rolling on the floor crying. There are a few scenes in this episode doing this to me, punch after punch, wasting no scene, nor time.

HyeJa is at the Morning Club, the other ajummas are waxing poetic on something about sadness is emerald in color, blind angel gazing and Moebius strip.
HJ: What was that all about?! …Stop speaking in tongue!

I had never thought stooges are my type. But I had not seen a masterpiece in the form of a daily sitcom with 3-digit # of episodes, then. And Rule of Threes totally ROCKS.

Ep2 started…spooky! But I ended up having a muscle memory of how much I laughed till I almost peed my pants.

It’s been nearly 5 months.
Any mention of ILICDD still gives me a rush of happy emotions and warm feelings that can only explained by pheromones of LOVE. Even in my current state of mind, ie I’m no longer in a daze and complete shock at every turn how !#$%^&*^&%$%!##$$^%#!$^%@&$*%&#%^^$ perfect it is because I know that for a fact now. I’m rewatching properly this time most rationally (yes I’ve rewatched some eps here and there pimping it to peeps around me) and it still hits me where it delivers spectacularly.
I’m picking the one and only drama as my fav of 2012 to go batshitcrazy.
This has been sitting in my draft for a month and I’ve tried to attempt serious, avoid spoilers…no avail. I’ve deleted 3 drafts completely and this is what I’ve decided to post. A 5 year old can quite possibly write something more eloquent and sensible.
Oh, well. This is for my merriment anyway.
**There will be lots of spoilers. I’m trying to keep them from spoiling the fun. Trying……but failing.**
